226 years ago, the United States Constitution was signed. In 1789, it would be ratified, and in 1789, it would become the supreme law of the land. Many times since it took effect, the law has been challenged.
In 2004, Congress passed a law that requires all schools ,from kindergarten through college, to teach lessons about the Constitution.
